Tom Knoblauch is an Omaha native who splits his time between filmmaking, radio/podcasts, voiceover work, writing, and teaching. Together with Ben Matukewicz, he co-founded Aksarben Creative, a media company and creative collective promoting Midwestern art. He currently hosts The Entertainment, produced by NPR affiliate KIOS and syndicated on PRX. An internationally award-winning filmmaker, Knoblauch’s latest release is Moving Parts, which was released in 2022.

The Entertainment (2024-present) is a series focusing on different cultural issues every week as they manifest through our screens. It is produced through NPR affiliate KIOS and syndicated on PRX.
The Big Schmooze (2021-present) is a comedy show co-hosted through Yankee Deer Media with Will Forget and Courtney Frahm.
Riverside Chats (2019-present) is a series of conversations on cultural issues of all kinds produced through NPR affiliate KIOS. Knoblauch created the show and hosted it from 2019-2024. He still serves as an executive producer.
